Margarida Azevedo has a degree in Communication Sciences from NOVA FCSH. She attended the first semester of the Post-Graduation in Arts of Writing and is finishing his master's degree in Text Editing. She was a collaborator at the Linguistics Center of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (CLUNL) as a Science and Technology Management Scholarship. She works as a freelancer in the area of communication and event management.

In July 2016 she created the blog Devaneios Menstruados dedicated to writing humor and some stories of her daily life.

Passionate about creative writing and aware of the potential for crossing different artistic areas, in 2018 she founded the (Diz)Sonâncias project where she combines creative writing with music and performing arts. With the invited musicians, mainly from jazz and improvisation, she develops synergies for a final result that crosses music, text and image.

In 2019 she launches her first book "Orfeu e os seus avôs em busca do Tósão" and one of her short stories - "Uma vulva com depressão" - is published in Crocodarium magazine #3. It is in the same year that she founded the TextuAlive project, which combines live writing with real-time narrative and improvisational music in live performance.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, in March 2020, she created the Covidarte page where some artists perform live, interview  personalities linked to the arts and publicize projects by other artists.

In 2020 (Diz)Sonâncias expands and becomes the platform for the dissemination of other of her projects related to writing, such as Instatales, Contos Isolados and Conto-te se tu quiseres.
